This week, marking six months since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel last October, prompts reflection. Tragically, the assault claimed over 1,200 civilian lives and took 250 individuals hostage, including women and children. In response, Israel initiated a military operation against Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza.

Regrettably, a grave error by IDF officers resulted in the deaths of seven aid workers in a central Gaza airstrike. An investigation revealed a serious breach of protocol, leading to the dismissal of several officers. The victims, part of the international aid organization World Central Kitchen (WCK), lost their lives during a humanitarian aid convoy operation. IDF's inquiry found that the convoy was mistakenly perceived as escorted by Hamas terrorists, leading to the fatal strike. Consequent actions by IDF include the dismissal of two senior commanders responsible for the errors and disciplinary measures against others.
